We are seeking an Electrical Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience to support and manage electrical engineering projects for healthcare, institutional, commercial, and industrial clients. This role is ideal for a Project Manager who is ready to take ownership of projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and serve as a key client interface while continuing to grow into more senior leadership responsibilities.
Requirements
- Manage electrical engineering projects from planning through design, construction, and closeout.
- Coordinate and oversee project teams consisting of engineers, designers, and other disciplines.
- Assist in developing project scope, schedules, staffing plans, and fee estimates.
- Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Support technical oversight of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.
- Review drawings, calculations, models, and specifications for quality, coordination, and constructability.
- Coordinate work activities related to: engineering and design production, document control and QA/QC processes, construction administration and field support.
- Participate in site visits, existing-conditions assessments, and field coordination meetings.
- Lead or support client meetings, design coordination meetings, and technical discussions.
- Prepare and assist with engineering reports, assessment reports, and Basis of Design (BOD) documents.
- Track and manage project schedules and deliverables.
- Assist with project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and change orders.
- Identify project risks and collaborate with senior staff to develop mitigation strategies.
