Job Description
Salas O’Brien is seeking a Senior Commissioning Project Manager to lead complex commissioning projects and manage teams. The ideal candidate will have 12-14 years of experience in commissioning, MEP construction, or project management, and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
Requirements
- Serve as primary client contact and commissioning authority
- Lead commissioning strategy for complex and multi-system projects
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Proactively identify and resolve project risks, scope gaps, and technical issues
- Develop commissioning scopes of work, schedules, and fee estimates
- Lead design phase reviews and commissioning planning meetings
- Maintain accountability for project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
- Provide technical guidance and quality oversight for commissioning staff
- Mentor and support the development of junior and mid-level commissioning providers
