Job Description
Performs all duties involved in the operations and maintenance of the wastewater collections system.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- One year paid work experience performing general maintenance or heavy labor (for Wastewater Collection Maintenance Worker Trainee)
- 12 months experience in water or wastewater system maintenance (for Wastewater Collection Maintenance Worker I)
- Three years' experience in wastewater systems maintenance or two years' experience as a Waste Water Collection Maintenance Worker I (for Wastewater Collection Maintenance Worker II)
- Certification in Confined Space Entry, Trenching and Shoring (Competent person as defined by OSHA)
- Valid Utah Commercial Driver's License, Class A
- Pesticide Applicators License (for Wastewater Collection Maintenance Worker I and Wastewater Collection Maintenance Worker II)
- Wastewater Collection Operator Grade II certification (for Wastewater Collection Maintenance Worker II)
