Job Description
We are seeking a Public Safety Deputy to join our Sheriff's Office team. As a Public Safety Deputy, you will be responsible for a wide variety of law enforcement functions, including general law enforcement, arresting and transporting individuals, and providing court security. We will pay for your POST Certification Training and offer a comprehensive benefits package, including education incentive allowance, flexible medical and dental insurance options, and 100% tuition reimbursement. No experience or training is required.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have lived in the country for at least five years and have legal authorization to work
- Must be at least 21 years of age by the date of hire
- Must be a resident of the State of Utah at the time of hire
- Must possess a valid Utah Driver's license at time of hire
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must not have any disqualifying criminal history
