Job Description
We are searching for a Pharmacy Intern to join our team! The position is responsible for interpreting and providing prescribed medications, IVs, and other pharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of the licensed Pharmacist. The Pharmacy Intern will also provide monitoring of medication therapy and use, participate in drug utilization evaluations and quality improvement processes.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and making satisfactory progress in a Bachelor of Science/Doctor of Pharmacy program from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Current Washington State Pharmacist Intern license in good standing required
- Knowledge in unit-dose distribution systems and IV admixture programs
- Computer experience with Pharmacy systems preferred
