Samsara is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist II to join their Supply Chain Innovation & Intelligence team. This role focuses on designing and deploying advanced machine learning models to optimize and transform the global supply chain. The ideal candidate will be a deeply technical individual with a focus on end-to-end ownership, impacting real business decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in applied data science or machine learning
- Master’s or PhD in a related technical field
- Expertise in statistical modeling or machine learning (time series forecasting, optimization, anomaly detection)
- Strong coding skills in Python and fluency in SQL
- Familiarity with MLOps practices
- Experience with data visualization tools and cloud platforms
