Job Description
Samsara is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build and maintain ML applications to power the Connected Operations Cloud platform, enabling organizations to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability. This role involves collaboration with various engineering teams, driving scalable innovation, and directly impacting the global economy. The position is remote for candidates in the US.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
- 4+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in C++, Golang, Java, Python, or Scala
- Proficiency with common ML tools (e.g., Spark, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Experience deploying and iteratively refining models using customer feedback loops
- Comfortable with full-stack/backend development code
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or quantitative discipline (preferred)
