Signal Integrity (SI) Engineer

The SI Design Engineer simulates & optimizes electrical models of connectors & cable assemblies, working closely with the mechanical design team to navigate trade-offs and arrive together at the optimal balance of mechanical and electrical performance.

Requirements

• Use novel techniques in modeling & simulation to design new connectors, cable assemblies, and connector evaluation PCBs with a focus on developing world-class solutions on tight timelines, achieving excellent correlation between measurement and simulation.
• Perform high-speed empirical and analytical signal integrity evaluations of interconnects.
• Provide electrical design guidance to mechanical design teams and create electrical product models and associated supporting documentation for major design and development milestones.
• Analyze variation of electrical performance to determine 1st & 2nd order dependencies to drive parametric optimization of models.
