Panel Lathe Operator

Perform safety checks, operate cranes and tools, read blueprints, record information, and perform inspections.

Requirements

• Perform all safety checks at the start of the shift on all cranes and tools
• Read, understand, and interpret blueprints and job routings
• Record required information on proper forms relating to machining practices where required
• Properly operate and interpret various measuring devices
• Correctly monitor and identify when equipment needs to be sent out for calibration
• Perform inspections using Quality Assurance procedures and work instructions
• Work with department supervisor and maintenance to make sure machines are running smoothly
• Perform housekeeping and other related duties
