Welder I - 2nd Shift

The Welder I - 2nd Shift will perform daily preventative maintenance tasks, read and interpret blueprints, and assemble heads, shells, and flanges for circumferential seam welding.

Requirements

• Adhere to and abide by all plant safety rules and regulations.
• Perform daily equipment check lists.
• Be able to read and interpret blueprints, job routings, and Standard Engineering Specifications.
• Properly assemble heads, shells, and flanges for circumferential seam welding.
• Hold necessary weld certifications to fabricate and repair pressure vessels.
• Record required information on proper forms relating to specific fabrication practices where required.
• Perform modifications or alterations to previously fabricated pressure vessels.
