The Food Service Worker serves and monitors the distribution of meals, and ensures that guidelines for special diets are followed. Prepares dining areas for the serving of meals and sets up serving lines. Cleans dining, service, and food preparation areas.
Requirements
- High school degree (or equivalent) or two (2) years’ work experience required.
- Must possess or obtain a valid Food Handlers certificate within 30 days of accepting the position.
- A minimum of one (1) year experience as a food service worker in a commercial environment, preferably in a healthcare environment setting preferred.
