Intake RN Day with rotating weekends

The Psychiatric RN will provide professional nursing care to patients with psychiatric or emotional disorders, assess their needs, plan and implement care procedures, and evaluate patient progress. The role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric nursing principles, medical terminology, and psychopharmacology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• RN, ADN or BSN from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting, phone triage, tele-health or case management or combination of education and experience
• Valid Texas RN license in good standing required
• CPR (must be obtained within 30 days upon hire) BLS, ACLS, CPI certifications a plus
