Intake Transfer RN Nights - 3/4 Split

The Transfer Center RN is responsible for evaluating, coordinating, processing, screening, and documentation of patient transfers into the SABHH. They will collaborate with relevant business partners for appropriate level of care and utilize problem solving and customer service skills to determine the best course of action for the patient, the physician, and the hospital.

Requirements

• RN, ADN or BSN from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Texas RN license in good standing required.
• CPR certification and ACLS, CPI certifications a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in a behavioral healthcare setting, phone triage, tele-health or case management or combination of education and experience.
• Basic teaching and training skills a plus.
• Must possess or obtain a valid CPR certification and SAMA training within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
