Job Description
The Mental Health Clinician I provides a range of services as part of the treatment team, including individual, family, group psychotherapy, and individual rehabilitation sessions. The position requires a Master's degree and licensure as an AMFT/ACSW, APCC, or equivalent, with experience working with children in a behavioral health setting and bilingual skills in Spanish. The clinician will work closely with case managers and families to develop individualized family plans and provide direct clinical, psychological, and rehabilitative mental health services.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an approved graduate school or program leading to California licensure as AMFT/ACSW, APCC, or equivalent
- Licensed therapist or registered intern with the appropriate California licensing board
- Experience working with children in a behavioral health setting
- Bilingual (Spanish) required
- Valid California Driver License in good standing and insurable by the Center's auto insurance carrier
- Department of Justice fingerprint clearance and pre-employment physical
