Director of Site Selection, Data Centers job at San Francisco Compute. Lead site origination for large GPU clusters in colocation facilities and greenfield builds. Collaborate with the Development Team to deliver projects.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in real estate or site selection with a focus on data centers or large-scale industrial projects
- Strong ability to assess site viability, including utility and behind-the-meter power solutions, title documents, land surveys, geotechnological reports, and environmental studies
- Proven track record of closing large and complex colocation or land transactions
- Experience collaborating with finance teams to evaluate multi-year infrastructure investments
- Customer-centric mindset, strong communication skills, and ability to build trust with external stakeholders
