Horizons at San Francisco Friends School seeks a Middle School Lead Teacher with a focus in math/science or Humanities to design and teach high-quality curriculum, engage students, and build a classroom environment that prioritizes student-led activities and projects.

Requirements

• Design and teach high-quality, culturally responsive, project-based curriculum
• Meet regularly with Teaching Assistant to plan curriculum and lessons
• Build a classroom environment that prioritizes student-led activities and projects
• Lead Field Trips around the San Francisco Bay Area
• Develop and nurture a safe, respectful, challenging and fun learning environment
• Help maintain ongoing communication with parents, caregivers and school year teachers
