Job Description
The Mental Health Clinician I position is a full-time role in the Behavioral Health Services department. The job involves interviewing clients and relatives, completing biopsychosocial assessments, and developing treatment plans. The position requires a master's or doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
Requirements
- Master's or doctorate degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
- Valid California driver's license
- Proof of current registration with the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- Active registration with the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, or Professional Clinical Counselor Intern
- California licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor within five years of appointment
