Job Description
San Joaquin County Correctional Health Services is seeking a full-time, board-certified adult psychiatrist to provide mental health treatment at the San Joaquin County Jail in French Camp, CA. The mission of Correctional Health Services is to provide exceptional whole person healthcare for our underserved population.
Requirements
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board eligible in Psychiatry, board-certified preferred.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in California.
- DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances.
- Experience in forensic psychiatry or correctional healthcare preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
