Senior Procurement Specialist

Senior Procurement Specialist drives procurement activities across a high-value CAPEX materials and services portfolio for a power company. This role combines ownership of procurement models, sourcing execution, supplier engagement, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective, and risk-managed procurement outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or related field preferred)
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or consulting with a procurement focus
• Experience supporting high-value CAPEX procurement programs (in the billions)
• Industry experience in power, energy or infrastructure procurement is preferred
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within EPC, infrastructure, or capital project environments
• Strong acumen and ability to evaluate supplier proposals and negotiate effectively
• Proven ability to independently drive procurement processes from initiation through contract award
• Advanced Excel proficiency with ability to build and enhance complex procurement and pricing models
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, execution-focused consulting environment
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams
