Job Description
Sandbox VR is looking for a Senior Gameplay Programmer to help shape the future of immersive multiplayer VR experiences. In this role, you will bring gameplay to life by building player interactions, AI behaviors, and core systems in Unity, working closely with designers and artists to create engaging, high-quality experiences.
Requirements
- Implementation of game mechanics and AI behaviors for 6-person multiplayer experiences
- Mentorship to other programmers
- Consistent pushing of Unity game engine limits to maximize quality
- Maintenance of creative and maintainable code
- Fixing bugs in existing gameplay systems
- Contributions to creative maintainable code
- Development of tools and processes for efficient development
- Collaboration with art and design to create and iterate on gameplay features
