Clinical Care Leader, Inpatient - Surgical Services

Sanford Health is seeking a Clinical Care Leader to facilitate healthcare services for patients in cooperation with the healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong nursing background and experience in patient care leadership.

Requirements

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients
• Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Demonstrate competency in nursing expertise and practices within the full scope of nursing knowledge
• Coordinate patient care, patient assessment, patient education, triage, and various other nursing interventions
• Assume leadership role in high-risk situations
• Manage emergent situations and intervene when unsafe practices are identified
• Make patient assignments based on employee's competencies, scope of practice, experience, and patient's unique needs
