Job Description
The Nursing Assistant serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
- A minimum of 12 hours continuing education annually
