Job Description
Sanford Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Advanced – Critical Care Transport. The EMT will provide patient care and transportation in emergency situations, while maintaining the ambulance in efficient operating condition.
Requirements
- Competent in trauma and medical situations in a pre-hospital setting
- Possess the knowledge and necessary skills to provide lifesaving interventions
- Administer first aid treatment or life support care to sick or injured persons
- Determine the nature and extent of illness or injury and establishes priority for required emergency care
- Communicate with dispatchers or treatment center personnel to provide information about the situation
