Job Description
Administers speech and language evaluations, tests, and examinations to diagnose and plan treatments for clients/patients/residents with various speech problems and swallowing disorders. Assesses clients/patients/residents with various speech, language, cognitive or swallowing problems and develops individualized treatment plans based on clinical diagnoses.
Requirements
- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
- Licensed in the state(s) of practice as Speech-Language Pathologist
- Holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence issued by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) or currently working on Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment
