Manager of School Culture and Climate School Year 26-27

Sankofa Montessori is seeking a Manager of Student Culture to lead the development and implementation of schoolwide culture initiatives, PBIS implementation, and disciplinary systems. The Manager will serve as a coach, model, and systems steward to staff, students, and families, and will lead the planning and facilitation of culture-related events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Two or more years of effective coaching experience in a high needs public school environment
• Demonstrated impact on the growth of adults and students
• Willingness to serve all children, regardless of background or needs, in an inclusive and supportive setting
• Skills in instructional practices and classroom management for student achievement
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Warm and firm demeanor
• Work collaboratively with a growth mindset
• Strong learning orientation and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
• Ability to complete physical demands of the role
