Research and Development Solution Architect - Digital Lab Operations

Role Overview

Join the digital engine driving Sanofi’s transformation - where AI, automation, and bold experimentation power faster science and smarter decisions. As a Research and Development Solution Architect, you will help build the first biopharma company powered by AI at scale. You will be part of the Sanofi Architecture CoE, responsible for defining the high-level vision and roadmaps in terms of solutions architectures, ensuring proper implementation, maintaining interoperability and consistency of the business processes and technical solutions.

What You Will Do

Lead and oversee the design and implementation of all solutions for Digital Lab Operations Research & CMC operations. Ensure alignment with architecture strategy and adhere to governance standards. Collaborate with business stakeholders and Digital Labs Operations & CMC experts to understand requirements and challenges from a functional and technical perspective.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in CS, IS, Software Engineering or related experience
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or similar field
• Good understanding of existing IT technologies, data types, and ontologies at Sanofi R&D
• Extensive background in designing, developing, and optimizing IT solutions
• Demonstrated understanding of the processes and workflows in Digital Labs Operations & CMC
• Experience with GxP, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations and the ability to ensure compliance with these regulations in the design and implementation of IT solutions
• Proven ability to translate functional requirements into technical/solution design, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
• Experience with Sanofi’s standards technologies (Snowflake, GitHub, IICS, Python, Openshift, ReactJS, SQL, AWS, Azure)
