VP - Commercial & Wholesale Operations

Santander is a global leader in the financial services industry, seeking a VP - Commercial & Wholesale Operations to manage front-to-back trade life cycle events post execution, working with the Front Office and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery of quality service to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business or equivalent degree
• 9+ Years Experience managing commercial relationships
• Knowledge of industry settlement platforms (BONY, Treasury Edge, Access Edge, DTCC, FedWire, DTC, SWIFT)
• Knowledge of industry systems and platforms (TPG)
• Proficient on Microsoft tools: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
• Ability to work independently within a team dynamic
• Excellent organizational, management, communication and customer service skill
• Exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness in decision making and problem solving
• Ability to manage deadlines and timely delivery
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
• Knowledge of Banking Regulations and Standard Practices
• Working knowledge in Commercial Banking
• Ability to develop resolution to complex problems that require the frequent use of creativity
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Python programing language a plus
• Fixed Income Operations experience at a major US bank
