Job Description
Development Architect - ApeiroRA SAP Cloud Infrastructure. We're looking for a Development Architect to build enterprise cloud infrastructure that provides European data sovereignty and hyperscaler-grade capabilities. You'll work on SAP Cloud Infrastructure, solving complex distributed systems challenges at scale.
Requirements
- Expert Programming: Deep expertise in Go, Rust, Python with focus on distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.
- Cloud & Infrastructure Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, GCP with experience in microservices and event-driven architecture, along with infrastructure automation concepts.
- Technical Curiosity: Interest in networking (protocols, configuration management, APIs) or experience with network devices, with willingness to deepen expertise.
- Technical Leadership: 8+ years of software development with proven track record of leading architectural decisions across multiple teams.
- Open Source Impact: Significant contributions to widely-adopted projects, preferably as maintainer in CNCF or Linux Foundation ecosystems.
- Scale & Performance: Experience building systems that handle massive traffic, multi-region deployments, and complex distributed consensus patterns.
- Innovation Drive: Demonstrated ability to pioneer solutions for vendor lock-in elimination and advance European cloud sovereignty initiatives.
- Security and Compliance: Awareness of industry standards related to security and compliance and experience integrating regulatory requirements into architectural patterns.
- Cultural Adaptability: Experience working across cultures and languages with strong communication skills for diverse, distributed teams.
- Soft skills: Excellent presentation, communication and problem-solving skills, have a thorough way of working with accuracy, take proactive initiatives, self-dependent and structured mode of working, high level of commitment and reliability, ready to work in a constantly changing, floating environment, fun working in a multinational team.
