Job Description
Product Owner - Knowledge Graph & Semantics (f/m/d) plays a pivotal role in bridging business stakeholders and technical delivery to ensure SAP IT’s Knowledge Graph strategy execution.
Requirements
- University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar
- 5+ years of professional working experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a technology-driven environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to facilitate structured interviews with SMEs
- Understanding of semantic concepts such as entities, relationships, taxonomies, and controlled vocabularies
- Familiarity with deterministic reasoning (graph queries) and probabilistic retrieval (vector search/LLMs) systems
- Ability to read and interpret SPARQL or Cypher queries
- Strong understanding of graph databases, semantic technologies, and modern AI/ML concepts, including LLMs, RAG architectures, and agentic AI systems
- Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe) and tools like Jira
- Proficient in both German and English, with strong communication skills
