Application Scientist, Bioinformatics

Saphetor is seeking an Application Scientist in Bioinformatics to support customers through their journey with VarSome, a leading bioinformatic tool for analysis and interpretation of human genome variant data. The role will involve pre-sales support, post-sales support, workflow optimization, scientific advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience in bioinformatics, including NGS secondary and/or tertiary analysis workflows
• Proficiency in English and Arabic
• Experience in a bioinformatics software company or DevOps/SysAdmin roles
• Familiarity with working in regulated environments, such as IVDR, CLIA/CAP, or similar standards
