Application Scientist, Clinical Genomics | French & Spanish Speakers

Join Saphetor as an Application Scientist in Clinical Genomics to support customers with VarSome, a bioinformatics tool for analysis and interpretation of human genome variant data. The role involves pre-sales support, post-sales support, workflow optimization, scientific advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Human Genetics, Laboratory Medicine, Molecular Biology/Pathology, Life Sciences, or related field
• Hands-on experience in clinical genomics workflows, including NGS library preparation, sequencing, and secondary and/or tertiary analysis in a clinical setting
• Bilingual in French and Spanish, proficiency in English
• Strong communication skills to simplify complex clinical genomics and bioinformatics concepts
• Regulatory knowledge and experience in a regulated environment
• Global mindset and experience in multicultural environments
• Commercial mindset to balance scientific accuracy with pragmatic sales decisions
• Self-organization, prioritization, and project management skills
• Global mobility and willingness to undertake international business travel
