Job Description
Sarasota County’s Planning and Development Services is hiring a Lot Drainage Specialist (Compliance/Maintenance Specialist III) to support safe, compliant land development throughout the community.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or an equivalent education with 4+ years of related work experience; a minimum of 2 years must include related inspecting experience.
- Valid Florida driver's license by date of hire.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or a related field.
- Florida Department of Environmental Protection Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspector Certification, or be willing to obtain within 6 months from the date of hire.
