Join our team and play a key role in assisting customers with all aspects of permitting! You’ll respond to general permit inquiries, conduct research, issue permits, schedule inspections, and process payments - all while following State Statutes, county ordinances, regulations, and unit policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
- Valid Florida Driver's License within 30 days of hire.
- Permitting Coordinator I - 3 years of clerical/office or customer service experience.
- Permitting Coordinator II - 1 year of experience involved with interpreting, enforcing, screening, or monitoring of a regulatory process ( such as permitting, planning, zoning, ordinances, licenses, building, taxes, etc.)
- Satisfactory Completion of Core Competencies or an ability to obtain Core Competencies within 6 months of hire date (see Addendum #1).
