The Supervised Release Program (SPR) for Sarasota County supports the 12th Judicial Circuit by supervising individuals awaiting trial and helping ensure compliance with court-ordered conditions. The Pretrial Services Caseworker II (Supervision Unit) will manage a caseload, monitor release requirements, prepare reports, collaborate with justice system partners, and connect clients to helpful community resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, counseling, social work, psychology, sociology, behavioral science, or a related field from an accredited college or university
- 4+ years of progressively responsible related work experience
- Certification by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) as a Florida Crime Information Center/National Crime Information Center (FCIC/NCIC) operator or be willing to obtain within six (6) months of appointment
- Valid Florida driver's license by date of hire
