Professional Review Engineer - Land Development

Sarasota County is seeking a skilled and motivated Review Engineer to join the Planning and Development Services team, performing civil engineering plan reviews, supervising activities, and contributing to safe, sustainable, and well-designed communities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Civil Engineering or a technically related engineering field
• 4(+) years of related Civil Engineering or infrastructure construction/inspection experience
• Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field with 3(+) years of related Civil Engineering or infrastructure construction/inspection experience
• Must be a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Florida
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn systems like SharePoint, ArcGIS, and Workday
