Commercial & Industrial Electrical Estimator

Sargent Electric Company is looking to hire a Commercial & Industrial Electrical Estimator in our growing Lewiston, Maine office. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates with detailed scopes, interacting with electrical supply houses, contractors, architects, engineers, and customers, and developing estimates based on various stages of design.

Requirements

• Attend Pre-bid, Scope Review, and other meetings as required.
• Bid projects with enough detail to provide accurate proposals.
• Review and understanding of specifications as they apply to specific jobs and be able to process the information contained therein in the preparation of estimates.
• Understand and make appropriate interpretations of all drawings and documents.
• Work closely with general contractors, architects, engineers and customers as required.
• Must be/become familiar with local vendors and be able to communicate sufficient information (specifications, quantities, sketches) to the vendor to ensure the receipt of accurate and competitive pricing.
