Job Description
The Manager of Environmental Compliance & Sustainability serves as the environmental subject matter expert (SME) for shipyard operations, owning environmental compliance, permitting, and regulatory engagement, and balancing regulatory rigor with operational reality to ensure environmental programs protect the business without unnecessarily constraining throughput, schedule, or cost.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
- 7+ years experience in environmental compliance within shipyards, heavy manufacturing, or industrial operations
- Demonstrated expertise in air permitting and emissions compliance, stormwater and wastewater programs, hazardous waste management, and regulatory interface
