Job Description
Saronic Technologies is seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes for autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) for the Department of Defense (DoD). The role involves process development, collaboration with design teams, quality assurance, continuous improvement, documentation, and training. The company is dedicated to revolutionizing defense autonomy at sea.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in the production of complex electromechanical systems.
- Familiarity with autonomous systems, robotics, or maritime technologies is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to autonomous maritime systems.
