Job Description
Saronic Technologies is seeking a talented Marine Propulsion Engineer to join their team, contributing to the development of autonomous surface vessels for the Department of Defense. This role involves designing, analyzing, and optimizing fluid, power transmission, and thrust-generating systems for propulsion, focusing on fluid interactions and performance in marine environments. The engineer will work with various components and participate in test campaigns and operational assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in design, analysis, and optimization of fluid power systems
- Experience with fluid dynamics analysis and modeling
- Experience using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software
