Senior Mechanical Engineer, Integration

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Senior Mechanical Integration Engineer to join their multidisciplinary engineering team. This role focuses on integrating complex subsystems within mechanical assemblies, connecting mechanical, electrical, optical, and sensing systems to ensure cohesive, manufacturable, and reliable integration into platforms. The engineer will be responsible for designing solutions for electronics packaging, routing cabling, and designing payload interfaces, supporting design reviews, and resolving integration issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience integrating complex mechanical and electrical systems
• Demonstrated expertise in system-level integration and packaging of electronics, sensors, or similar subsystems
• Proficient in 3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, or similar) and mechanical documentation practices
• Familiarity with EMI/thermal considerations and their mechanical implications
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines (electrical, software, manufacturing)
• Experience with fast-paced prototyping environments or low-rate production is a plus
• Working or expert knowledge of GD&T a plus
