As a Process Expert – Automation, you will serve as a senior technical authority supporting the deployment of Sartorius automation solutions in late-stage biopharmaceutical process development, pilot, and commercial-scale facilities.
Requirements
- Act as a senior automation consultant for strategic customer projects, ensuring Sartorius solutions integrate seamlessly with customer IT/OT environments (DCS, SCADA, MES).
- Provide expert-level pre- and post-sales support, resolving automation challenges and supporting Sales in customer discussions.
- Partner with Account Managers and Product Management to identify and qualify automation opportunities, contributing to commercial strategy and customer roadmaps.
- Lead Sartorius automation contributions in tech transfers and commercialization projects, working with in-network manufacturing sites and CDMOs.
- Collaborate with Process Consulting team members during Discover Process Surveys, contributing automation expertise to shape customer strategies and identify long-term partnership opportunities.
- Promote adoption of the Biobrain suite of control software, driving platform conversions where appropriate.
- Support customers and Sartorius teams by applying TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and CoGS (Cost of Goods Sold) models to demonstrate the business value of Sartorius automation solutions.
- Coordinate implementation of PAT (Process Analytical Technology) and Data Analytics tools with relevant subject matter experts during optimization and commercialization projects.
- Partner with regulatory experts to assess and manage regulatory impact and change control requirements related to automation deployment.
- Represent Sartorius in industry forums (e.g., ISPE, BioPhorum), contributing to strategic discussions and enhancing Sartorius visibility in the automation community.
