Job Description
The Manager, Tank Farm Shift Operations is the senior leader responsible for managing safe and efficient facility operations on an assigned shift at Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC. The position requires experience in a nuclear facility and facility specific qualifications. The Manager will direct all aspects of Tank Farm operations while on duty and make decisions affecting the accomplishment of work objectives and activities while promoting and ensuring the safety of employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline with experience in a relevant engineering, operations and/or maintenance function
- Associates of Science or Associates of Applied Science degree or non-technical Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in engineering, operations or maintenance function
- High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience in engineering, operations or maintenance function
- Experience working in a nuclear facility
- Current qualification as a Control Room Manager or Shift Technical Engineer within the hiring facility will be credited as one additional year of experience
- Previous supervisory experience
- Four or more years nuclear experience
