The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for creating an excellent shopping experience for customers, driving sales growth and profitability, and establishing an engaging environment for team members.

Requirements

• Provides leadership, coaching and development to store team members
• Creates a safe and positive store environment
• Assists store manager with creating the weekly schedule
• Leads the store in the store manager’s absence
• Performs and/or coordinates building maintenance
• Takes genuine interest in the growth and development of team members
• Ensures the store is operated according to operational standards
• Responsible for key metrics of store operations
• Analyzes and utilizes operational/financial data to make business decisions
• Responsible for merchandising program execution
• Maintains a high standard of operation for customers
• Manages inventory levels to meet company standards
• Responsible for excellent perishable product offering and management
• Responsible for interpreting sales data and trends
• Responsible for implementing and compliance with all policies and procedures
• Acquires food safety certification
• Always provides support to the store manager
• Performs other duties as assigned
