Inpatient Coding Specialist - Facility

We're seeking an Inpatient Coding Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will review documentation to code diagnoses and procedures for inpatient hospital-based claims and data needs. They will maintain up to two concurrent client assignments and validate MS-DRG and APC calculations, abstract clinical data, and mitigate coding-related claims scrubber edits.

Requirements

• Active AHIMA credential or AAPC credential
• 1 year of relevant coding experience
• Passing score of 80% on pre-employment tests
