Engineering Manager - Java

Requirements

• 13+ yrs of experience in Java/J2ee technologies
• Hands-on experience of Java/J2EE, core Java concepts, Spring, Hibernate, Groovy and Grails
• Proficiency with RDBMS Server in designing and optimizing queries, performance tuning and stored procedures
• Good hands-on experience with Code Repository tools and Java debugging tools
• Drive technical excellence and implementation of best engineering practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• Data-driven decision maker
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with other teams
• Ability to work effectively and achieve results across functional areas
• Ability to manage multiple teams and initiatives
• Extensive hands-on experience building and managing the development of complex, large scale enterprise applications
• Proven experience in team management, attracting, hiring, retaining and leading top engineering talent
• Strong written, verbal communications, presentation skills, leadership, problem solving and analytical skills
