Job Description
Assistant Manager-Technical Operations will support in development & qualification of new suppliers/Ingredients, understand Abbott requirements, and provide onsite support to suppliers in improvements & closing the gaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor/Masters Degree in Food/Chemical Technology/Engineering or similar discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in some or all the following disciplines: Food Processing, Supplier Development, technical services, supplier quality assurance, and Plant operations.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing of Non-dairy ingredients (like Sugar, Maltodextrin, Edible Oils, Minerals & Vitamins, flavors, Nutritional Products, quality assurance, and technical oversight.)
- Knowledge of general microbiology/ chemical/ Physical hazards and understanding of Analytical testing.
- Good data analytical skills & knowledge of the statistical process.
- Good command of Excel & good presentation skills.
