Job Description
The Chicago School is seeking an experienced and visionary Chair for the Department of Clinical Psychology (PsyD) on the Dallas campus. The Chair will provide academic, administrative, and clinical training leadership to ensure full compliance with APA Standards of Accreditation and support the continued development and success of the program.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology (required)
- Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in the State of Texas
- Demonstrated identity as a psychologist, reflected in scholarship, professional activities, and engagement in the field
- Significant experience in graduate psychology education
- Experience supervising clinical training (practicum and/or internship)
- Deep working knowledge of APA Standards of Accreditation
- Proven ability to lead academic programs or units within a university setting
- Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and people-development skills
