We are seeking a full-time Resident Engineer for San Francisco Bay Area transit infrastructure work. The Resident Engineer will work on environmental compliance and permitting coordination with agency stakeholders, and have prior transit experience and knowledge of local environmental compliance and permitting requirements.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in performing Resident Engineering work for large capital projects
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in California preferred
- Experience in environmental compliance and permitting requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, planning, landscape architecture, or similar degree
- Proficiency in cost estimating, critical path scheduling (CPM) and negotiating/processing change orders, claims, and delays
- Knowledge in project control fundamentals (AACE) with superior analytical skills
- Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, project-centric environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to learn organization's software, programs, and processes in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and verbal instructions
