Job Description
Join SBCS as a Donation Warehouse Volunteer to help support community members in need. Assist with inspecting, sorting, and processing donations, as well as helping clients shop and locate donated items. Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must pass a background check
- Must have the ability to follow direction and adherence to safety guidelines
- Must have good administrative and data-entry skills such as accessing and entering data in the agency's Efforts-to-Outcomes (ETO) database
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 20 pounds repetitively and safely
- Ability to transport boxes/objects from 10 to 20 lbs. across the warehouse
- Ability to walk and stand on hard surfaces
- Ability to bend, reach, and grasp donated items
- Ability to sort donated clothing and household items
