Electrical Technician

The Electrical Technician is responsible for executing maintenance and preservation tasks efficiently and safely to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance and preservation activities, including but not limited to cleaning, housekeeping, blasting, spraying/painting, isolation and reinstatement, greasing application, and the preservation of topside items like flanges, bolts and valves.

Requirements

• Maintain and adjust the condition of electrical assets
• Monitor and assess the performance and condition of electrical assets
• Diagnose faults in electrical assets
• Monitor and maintain pollution control measures
• Respond promptly to problems in line with approved procedures
• Select appropriate tests and diagnostic procedures and apply them methodically
• Determine the cause, nature and extent of problems in the performance and condition of electrical systems or assets
• Record an accurate and full description in the appropriate document history
